Ave Maria is a master-planned town in eastern Collier County, developed by Barron Collier Companies on about 5,000 acres. It launched in 2005 around Ave Maria University and the Oratory, a landmark church that anchors the Town Center. The master plan allows up to 11,000 homes at build-out, and more than 5,500 homes have sold so far.
The town is built for everyday living. The Town Center has a Publix, restaurants, shops and medical offices, and Midtown Plaza adds more.
